Alexander Technique workshop for the thinking actor
This workshop is forr full time actors or students in full time theatre training over the age of 16 years.
The Alexander Technique liberates the creative mind: inspiration rather than habit informs artistic expression.
Alexander was an actor who understood what an actor needs to maintain energy and commitment in performance.
In this workshop hands-on work is used to support vocal and physical freedom and to suggest ways forward where energy or inspiration seem blocked or
depleted.
Please bring a couple of paperback books and a mat or rug to lie down.
Taking some individual lessons before the workshop is recommended.
Kate is a former actress and has been teaching actors and working in London drama schools for 25 years.
