Photos for the press
There is a website of high resolution photos for the use of the press; Ilia Daoussi (see above)
will be happy to give you its web address.
Making Contact
If, for example, you wish to contact a local teacher
for a regional newspaper or TV programme,
you can contact the office who will pass you onto a suitable contact.
STAT does not employ a full-time press officer, but a number of the Society's
members are on call to answer press queries. These are full-time Alexander
teachers who provide the press service on a voluntary basis. We ask that
when referred to them you respect their time.
The following steps will help:
- This website has been designed so that much of the basic information
you should need is available on it, so please take the time to consult
the website thoroughly before conducting an interview.
- Every effort is made to answer your enquiry promptly, but please be
aware that you may not get an instant response if the teacher taking
your query is in the middle of a working day with clients.
- When you make contact, or if you leave a recorded message or send an
email, please state what your deadline is, and be as specific as possible
about the nature of your article, what kind of additional information you need,
the name and type of publication you are writing for and its readership.
We welcome feedback on this website and suggestions for information that you may wish to
see added to it.
